“Former professional dancer. Dance teacher. Yoga teacher. Wife. Mom. Free spirit. Rebel heart. Creative. Dreamer. Deep thinker. Perimenopausal woman in her late 40’s who crashed and burned with debilitating anxiety and depression after pandemic who, “gets it” from various vantage points and life stages. Been there, done that, but always learning and growing. In the middle of my personal storm, I realized and understood I was supposed to do something with, “all this stuff.” My purpose is to help others get to their “other side,” thrive, rebel against the status quo, live their lives to the fullest and find their light.”
Along with being a Board Certified Integrative Health Coach, Jess is also an RYT-500 with specialized certifications in Prenatal-Postnatal and Restorative Yoga. Following her professional dance career, she earned her MA in Dance Education from NYU. She also earned her BFA in Dance Performance from UMASS Amherst. To her practice, Jess brings a, “go against the grain,” integrative, energetic, somatic and creative approach, honoring each individual’s process. She also brings her contagious enthusiasm, down to earth energy, honesty, love of connecting mind, body and soul, passion for empowering clients’ fullest potential and a deep respect and gratitude for supporting people through their personal mental health and wellness journeys.
My coaching style is down to earth, supportive and honest. I believe trust, transparency and non judgment is a key component to a successful coaching relationship. I’m here for an objective ear, to ask you thought provoking questions and to work together to devise a strategy to help you reach your goals. I’m here as your guide, but it’s you who ultimately steer the ship. I’m also here for high fives, celebratory dances and a little tough love when needed.
